Story
A new hospital bed for training, thanks to HospEquip, Wollondilly Shire Council and Simplot
2026
Our teams now train on a real hospital bed, thanks to the generous support of HospEquip, Wollondilly Shire Council and Simplot.
Hospital visits mean getting up on beds, around rails and beside patients. Practising on a real bed at our training and assessment days means new teams arrive at their first hospital visit already confident.
New teams practise on it at their training and assessment day. See how volunteering with your dog works.
