Sambo

January 2018

Sambo  - a real character with a taste for hospital biscuits, was given a new home with Gwen in 2013. He soon become little brother to Gwen’s lovely Labrador, Bella, and the 2 were very close and did everything together. Both Sambo and Bella were Paws dogs, and both did

a wonderful job regularly visiting the Southern Highlands Cancer Centre.

Even after Bella crossed the Rainbow Bridge, aged 14 and a half, Sambo continued the good work, bringing joy and laughter to chemotherapy patients, their families and staff.

We recently lost little Sambo – he will be greatly missed.

Gwen continues to visit the cancer centre twice a week, with new additions Molly and Minty.
