PAWS and PETstock
Working together to create magical moments for people in need
The generosity of PETstock is enabling two very worthwhile groups to enjoy visits by our lovely dogs and people. Stay tuned for other ways that PETstock is helping PAWS help others.
Cullunghutti Early Learning Centre provides early childhood education and care for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, with a priority to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. Cullunghutti provides high-quality early childhood education that is both affordable and accessible for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.
Cullunghutti Early Learning Centre is a special place of gathering, where community are family, and children are their future.
They are a unique Aboriginal service, which provides a place of being, becoming, and belonging. It is a respectful and safe place for all children, families, and wider community.
Our wonderful PAWS team of Susan and Henry George have a great time with these wonderful kids helping to give them the start to life they deserve.
St Vincent de Paul Society undertakes amazing work in the community. It is with great pleasure that PAWS has been able to use funds from our PETstock grant to partner with them to offer assistance to women and their children escaping domestic violence and homelessness.
Megan and Leona are one of several PAWS teams who have made visits to one of St Vinnies refuges to spend time with kids and their mums at a very difficult time in their lives.
Visits by our great people and dogs help to create a sense of home, a dog for the kids to play with and a person for mum to have a chat with.
From doing craft to sharing stories PAWS is looking forward to offering future visits to the refuge as part of an after school program.
